I added the ability for the ball to interact with pressure plates (as a request). Also there was a discussion about making a ball cannon. So I attempted it (I am sure you all could make better versions).
I also changed the way punches (and all melee/tools) are created. The old version created the effect at the players position and stayed there even while the player was moving. It worked okay for quick animations, but the punch (because it does it twice) is pretty slow and very noticeable. Now I have the effect move with the player which feels better TBH. The range might need to be adjusted so let me know what you think about it.
What is next?
As some of you may know I am a teacher so I have to start getting ready for the school year to start. We are doing online learning for 3 weeks and then a hybrid model of online and in person classes after that. As the computer teacher on campus there isn't much new for me. I've been recording and putting my classes online for years. I do have to teach all the other teachers how to do it though... gulp. So I have meetings all week creating lessons and plans for when the other teachers come back.
After that I'll probably start back into mission creation. I have several more side missions I'd like to do in Anchor Rage and then back to the main missions.
